Steelrising: Module Key Locations

Steelrising has module keys that are required to upgrade your Module Slots. There are a total of 35 module keys and four slots in total.

To gain the Technician trophy and achievement, you must upgrade all four Slots to Stage 3. The first Slot is unlocked automatically by the Story; to unlock the remaining Slots, one Module Key is required for each Slot (3 Keys in total). You can upgrade each Slot twice. You’ll need three Keys for the first upgrade in each Slot (12 Keys in total). You’ll need five Keys for the second upgrade in each Slot (20 Keys in total). This means that you’ll need 35 Keys to upgrade all four Slots to Stage 3.

Steelrising: Les Invalides (first story-related visit)

Module Key 1: After defeating the Unstable Lightning Ram and traveling to Paris, you will come across this Vestal. You can’t miss it. The Module Key costs 2000 Anima Essence.

Module Key 2: This well can be found during the Main Quest “The Master of the Machines.” You can’t miss it. Behind it is a house, and you can already see the Module Key in the corner.

Module Key 3: During the Main Quest “The Master of the Machines,” you will reach Esplanade des Invalides. Jump down and turn around; the Key will be waiting for you.

Module Key 4: This Key is hidden behind Eugène’s Workshop in Les Invalides, inside the Factories. During the Main Quest “The Master of the Machines,” you will automatically arrive here. Follow the Path, and instead of taking the Story Path, go to the Top Floor of the Second Building, where the Key is waiting for you.

Module Key 5: You will obtain this Key after defeating the Unstable Forger. You can’t miss him because you’ll arrive during the story. After defeating him, you can take the Key from his body.

Steelrising: La Cité

Module Key 6: You must pass through this window during the Main Quest “In Search of Abbé Grégoire.” Below this window is the chest containing the Key.

Module Key 7: During the Main Quest “In Search of Abbé Grégoire,” you will come across this broken bridge. You can’t miss it. The Module Key costs 2000 Anima Essence.

Module Key 8: During the Main Quest “In search of Abbé Grégoire,” you’ll come across a broken bridge. You can’t miss it. Instead of going upstairs once you’ve crossed the bridge, defeat this enemy beneath it. Right behind him is the chest containing the Key.

Module Key 9: This Unstable Automat can be found shortly after the broken bridge during the Main Quest “In Search of Abbé Grégoire.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 10: You will come across this during the story. You can’t miss him. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 11: After defeating the Bishop of the Cité, you will arrive at this location. Climb the building using your new skill. The Key is in a chest up there.

Steelrising: The Tuileries

Module Key 12: After arriving at The Tuileries, you must walk through a garden. At the end of the garden, you have the option of turning right to exit the garden or turning left to find a chest containing the Key.

Module Key 13: You will see this Vestal at the end of the garden, which you must pass through for the Story. You can purchase the Key for 2000 Anima Essence.

Module Key 14: During the Main Quest “Troubled Waters,” you will encounter this Unstable Automat. You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 15: You will encounter this Titan during the Main Quest “Troubled Waters.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Steelrising: Luxembourg

Module Key 16: You will encounter this Vestal during the Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg.” You can’t miss it. The Module Key is available for purchase for 2000 Anima Essence.

During the Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg,” you will encounter this Unstable Automat inside the Luxembourg Gardens. You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 18: At the end of the Luxembourg Gardens, you are supposed to jump into the window, but in order to get the Key, you must take the path to the right and follow it until the end. The Module Key can be obtained by picking up the body on the ground.

Module Key 19: You will encounter this Titan during the Main Quest “The Shadows of Luxembourg.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Les Invalides (second story-related visit)

Module Key 20: You will come across this area during the Main Quest “To Les Invalides!” You can’t miss it. Instead of going through the gate in front of you, turn left and go behind the church to find an Unstable Automat. After defeating it, you can pick up the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 21: You’ll come across this area during the Main Quest “To Les Invalides!” You can’t miss it. You’re supposed to go right, but instead you break through the wall. Swing into the house and grab the Module Key in front of you.

Module Key 22: You will encounter this Titan during the Main Quest “To Les Invalides!” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Montmartre Module Key 23: This Vestal can be found during the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss.” You can’t miss it. The Module Key is available for purchase for 2000 Anima Essence.

Module Key 24: You will encounter this Unstable Automat during the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 25: At the end of the Main Quest “The Recluse of the Abyss,” you will encounter this Titan. You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Steelrising: The Bastille

Module Key 26: During the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille,” you will climb up to the rooftops of some houses. This is a must-see. When you reach the rooftop, instead of going straight ahead, turn to the right. You can find the Module Key on the ground.

Module Key 27: You will encounter this Unstable Automat during the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 28: Before entering the fortress during the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille,” you must walk through the moat; at the end, you must choose where to get up. You can’t miss it. Choose the left side. You can take the Module Key from the chest in front of you.

Module Key 29: You will encounter this Titan during the Main Quest “The Prisoner in the Bastille.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Steelrising: Saint-Cloud

Module Key 30: This Unstable Automat can be found during the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin.” You can’t miss him because he’s directly in front of the Side Mission’s objective. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 31: Near the end of the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin,” you will reach a large area called “The Grandes Nappes” between the stairs leading to the Boss fight, where you will find the Key guarded by an enemy.

Module Key 32: Near the end of the Side Quest “In Memory of the Dauphin,” you will come across a large house, and the Key will be on the ground in front of the house, guarded by an enemy.

Versailles

This Vestal can be found during the Main Quest “Checkmate.” You can’t miss it. You can purchase the Key for 2000 Anima Essence.

Module Key 34: You will encounter this Unstable Automat during the final Main Quest “Checkmate.” You can’t miss it. After defeating him, you can retrieve the Module Key from his body.

Module Key 35: At the end of the final Main Quest “Checkmate,” you will reach a crossing. You should go to the right, but instead go to the left. This location is unmistakable. You can find the Module Key on the ground.

The Technician trophy or achievement is unlocked after upgrading all Module Slots.
