Yesterday Epic had revealed the first details of the next Fortnite update, now the date for the 10.40 update has been revealed.
Fortnite Update 10.40 will be released Wednesday, September 25th. At 4 AM ET (0800 UTC) the Fortnite servers will be offline, then the update will be uploaded. It can be assumed that Client Patch 2.37 (PS4) will also be released, which means we have to download a patch.
Many details about the Fortnite 10.40 update are not yet available, but what will come is the improved matchmaking. You are more likely to be given similarly good players, and the better you become, the better your opponents will be.
