Epic Games announced the next Fortnite update a few minutes ago. We have all the information about the v16.50 update and the maintenance work.
According to the official Twitter post, the Fortnite update will be released at 16:50 tomorrow. There are also maintenance tasks to match the patch and the servers are shut down.
The Fortnite servers will be offline around 4 AM ET (08:00 UTC). Then the update will be released and you will have to download a patch.
How long are the Fortnite servers offline? Epic has not provided any information on the duration of the downtime. We assume that it will take 2 to 3 hours.

Of course there are no exact patch notes at this point! Epic will release the details tomorrow and we will let you know. So far, however, the following is known:
- A fan favorite comes back out of the vault
- Survey and oversee larger spaces in Creative
- Spend your Bars BIG in the next Wild Week starting June 3!
