Actually, the latest Fortnite update should already appear last Tuesday, but Epic Games had problems and had to postpone update 5.40.
Now the date is fixed, Fortnite Update 5.40 will be released tomorrow, September 6th. With the installation of Patch 1.76 the servers will go offline at the usual times.
The Fortnite servers will be offline at 4 AM ET (0800 GMT).
Update 5.40 will also start the High Stakes Event. Whether the Challenges of the 9th week start on time is currently unknown.
