In Wasteland 3 you will face many enemies and you will only survive the battles if your armor is accordingly good.
Since the battles are turn-based, it can happen that one of your characters is in the wrong position. If that is the case, the character has to take a lot of damage, the better your armor, the less damage he will take.
In this Guide we will show you where you can find all unique armors in Wasteland 3. This includes chest armor, leg armor and helmets. All armors can be found in the game world and will be looted or you get some as a rewards for quests.

Wasteland 3 Armor Locations Guide
- Click on the Map and go to the Location Santa’s House. Move forward to the upper door and keep yourself to the right. You will see the Container right away once you reached the end of this room.
Armor: Chemtek

Location: Santa’s Workshop
- Go to the Western White House which is located in the Denver Ruins. Walk down the stairs and you will see the merchant Sister Nancy Forge. Talk to her and ask her what she have got for sale.

Talk to the NPC and have a short dialogue, you will get some fame, money, a caltrop launcher and the Exoskeleton Chest with Armor +27.
The Command Habitat can be found in the car Collector Min area. Open your map and click on Commant Habitat, just go the room right above right room and you will see the large Container where you get the next Chest with Armor +4.

- The Armor Crate has has 3 items for you, a Machine Chest with Armor +4, a Machine Shop Pants with Armor +3 and a Machine Shop Helmet with Armor +2. You will find the Armor Crate at the MacTavish’s Machine Shop. The Armor Crate is on the right side of the room.

- This Waste Dweller Helmet is located in the Denver Ruins. Click on your map and go the Statue of Reagan location. Go the ramp of the left side of the statue and you will find a corpse with the Waste Dweller Helmet with Armor +8.

- You will find the Skullcap Helmet in the Cannibal Compound. The Booze Box is on the upper side of the area. The Skullcap has a Armor +7 and a resistance of 25% against Cold, Energy, Dire and Explosive.

- The next Helmet is in the Ranger HQ area. Go to your map and click ont the Med bay location and go down the stairs to see the Weapon Crate. Just open it and get you Commandants Helmet with Armor +6 and a critical chance +15%.

- You will find the Grid Iron Helmet in the Bizarre Exterior are. Go to the Smuggler’s Camp on your map. The safe is only couple steps away on the upper side. You will need at least lockpicking level 7 to open the safe. The Grid Iron is a Helmet with Armor +4.

- The next Helmet is Murdercross and you will get this in the area Arapaho Caravan. Go to your map and select the Arapaho Caravan and walk few steps to the upper side and go into the garage on the right side, just loot the corpse in the garage and the Murdercross Helmet with Armor +3 and Speed +1 is yours.

- The Electrohelmet is in the Monster Army Bunker area. Go to your map and select the Entrance Lobby location and walk to the upper side of the room until the end where you will find the next safe. Open the safe and get the Electrohelmet with Armor +4 and some other cool stuff like Ammo and supplies.

You will find the Chemtek Helmet in the Bizarre Exterior are.
Go to the Dentist Office on your map and loot the corpse to get the new Helmet with Armor +8, the Sorage Unit 109 Key and the Dental Pick which is a Bladed Weapon with 44-61 Damage.

- The Breathers Mask is in the Little Hell area. Click on your map and go to the Lab. Once there, go into the kitchen in the upper room to find the container where you get the Breathers Mask with Armor +7.

- The Solderpunk helmet is in the Department of Energy Site area. Go to the Garage on your map and walk to the locker on the upper side of the garage to egt this helmet with an Armor +7 and a Fire resistance of +50%.

- The Hog Mask is located in the Warrens area. Click on the Bizarre Exterior on your map, from the ladder walk to the upper side trhough the next room and you see the container on the right side at the end of this room. Open it to get the Hog Mask which give you an Armor +4 and a plus damage of +15% against animals.

- The Legs are located in the Paint Mines area. Go to the Colorado point on your map and walk to the upper side unti you see the white caravan. Right in front of the caravan is something on the ground where you can loot the Exoskeleton Legs with an Armor +13 and a Melee damage Bonus of 15%.

- The next Helmet is in the Ranger HQ area. Go to your map and click ont the Med bay location and go down the stairs to see the Weapon Crate on the right side of the room. Just open it and get you Nuclear Knight’s Helmet with Armor +6 and a Cold, Fire and Explosive resistance +15%.

I found a full setup of spectrum assault gear in a random toaster encounter on the world map. I think the skill check was 6 but I’m at 7 so it may be 7. 12% crit chance 8 armor head, 9 armor 10% initiative 0.5 detection time on chest, 0.3 combat speed 6% evasion 9 armor legs.
